Monday Mornings

This semester my good friend and neighbor got a great job in her field and I am watching her two year old daughter for the morning.  She is a few months older than Isaac.  And is growing up so much!  This morning her conversation has been amazing.  And Isaac loves her- he have her the biggest hug hello when she arrived this morning.  

In other news Sam slept better last night- yea!!!

And in our annual oscar competition I beat Nate by four!!!!  I don't think this has ever happened!  And this was despite either of us seeing any of the nominated films-  what a sad year in that department.  If only we had wagered an actual prize...

Best friends

We don't do this often but we were out to breakfast with our edger Mary before she left for Croatia and needed a few more minutes so they watched bob the builder together.  Worked like a charm!

Isaac is two!

And a handful!  Some of his favorite words are no and mine.  But he also says  I love you and gives lots of hugs and kisses hello and goodbye.  He has long pretend convos on the phone.  He loves bob the builder, Elmo, trucks, trains, tv, his brother and sister, his grandparents....  

Some favorite recent moments were when we came to pick him up after our small group at church on Thursday and he screamed so loud and excited when he saw us- I can't even describe how awesome it was.  

And on Friday when I had all three kids to 

Put to bed-  we turned out the light and he crawled under the covers with Olivia while we prayed and sang.  It was so sweet and awesome.

And every night he says I love you:)

And he often says thank you which is like a breath of fresh air in my crazy days.

He has no fear and yet he is very sweet and caring.  

Bath time

Even though I think it may have been two weeks since he last had a bath, he seemed to still really like it.  He is almost sitting up these days and has been caught rolling from tummy to back.  It will be crazy when we get all three in a tub...

Well, of not breast milk😄. Just rice cereal.  Apparently after a few bites we thought he liked he spit it all back up😛

Two Months

Samuel is now two months old and I cant help but try to find the comparison shots with the other kids.  So here ya go. We will find out his official weight on Wednesday though I think he will give Isaac a run for his money.  He started off with what we lovingly called chicken legs but today as I changed a DIRTY diaper I couldnt help but notice the boy has CHUBBY legs now!!!  And his 3 month clothes fit just right!  He smiled lots and coos and sometimes even giggles.  He sleeps pretty consistently at night from 7:30 - 12- 4 -7 which is doable for sure.  Still grunts alot.  And exciting for Mommy, has been left at home with a babysitter and Daddy twice this weekend.  He is growing up and things are changing:)
