48/52 Thanksgiving!

We had a lovely week for Thanksgiving.  We have so much to be grateful for- its really amazing.  Monday and Tuesday were "normal" except our friends Randon and Kelly visited with their two boys- who share birthdays with our two boys!  Randon and Nate went to college together and we had great time catching up.  Wednesday we headed to Bolton for the big day.  Thursday morning we watched the parade and played outside before having dinner.  Friday we were lucky enough to see all of my family in Lincoln for a few moments.  Saturday was a rainy day in Amherst and the kids played SO WELL while Nate and I got much needed work done.  Today we went to church and Olivia has a play date with our neighbor while th boys napped and watched football.  I must say there are hard moments when I yell or scream in frustration but overall- I really like my life:)  I am blessed!
Isaac playing in some mud (before his hands got COLD)

Olivia on her playdate

Sam loves football!  its really funny how adamant he is- he even wanted to go back to a specific game when Nate tried to switch the channel on him.

Rainy day Saturday- the boys and I were in our PJs all day.

Riding bikes at Nana and Papas on Thanksgiving

Having lunch appetizers while watching the end of the parade.

Papa and my nephew Liam- so cute! I love his hair!

All the people playing "football"

Aunt Linda always has something fun up her sleeve- this time it was a lunch sticker book.  My other nephew Drew is playing here with Olivia.  Also has great hair:)

Must have been Tuesday that Sam didn't want to nap, so he promptly fell asleep during TV time later in the afternoon.

47/52

We got the kids each a coloring activity kit from Disney- they all enjoyed them together- for about ten minutes.  As much as I love my kids and as wonderful as they are- it didn't take long after a week away for reality to hit.  Our lives our busy and our kids are a lot of work! Lately, its playing referee I think most of the time.

Monday night I headed back to campus and saw these beautiful women to discuss Mark.

Tuesday I remembered to take time for me and take this gorgeious walk with sleepy boys.

Wednesday night NAVNIGHT game...  I don't know how it worked, but I played.  And lost:)  And we had a great speaker who really encouraged us to get into the WORD.  Now to practice that....

Wednesday was also important because we did find out we are having another BOY.  Cant believe it!

Friday afternoon I wanted to go for a walk- but we were all too tired.  Sam took a nap in bed, and I sat on the couch with Isaac who did this after a few minutes.  IT was a busy week.
A good friend at one of my mom groups gave me this hat on Friday- i was so touched to receive it for this precious boy.
Saturday afternoon we headed to the Holyoke Children's Museum for Henry's 5th birthday.  Though stressful to follow three kids around, they had a blast!

46/52

This might have been the best week of the year- a week definitely more focused on Mommy and Daddy then the kids- ha!  Monday we headed out of Amherst (after Nate packed and scrubbed our home so we could show it to possible tenants as we get ready to move to our new house!) and headed to see David and Rhiannon- what a blast to have dinner with them and their kids.  And my, how things have changed since we met in 2004!  Husbands and babies galore!  And then Tuesday morning  Nate and I flew to FLORIDA at Disney World for a week away!!!!  Ok, technically it was for work.  But it didn't feel like it!  We saw lots of good friends, ate good food, slept!, walked, read...  it was wonderful!!!  And the kids had a great time in Lincoln and Bolton with all the grandparents.  We are so blessed to have this kind of oppurtunity.

45/52

This week Olivia had her own social calendar much to Isaac's dismay.  Saturday she played with Hallie and Sunday with Rosalee.  The world of playdates is great- but hard to actually plan.  When they happen its awesome though and she had a blast.  Sam also had a birthday party to go to so I think isaac felt a little left out.  We had to drop Daddy off at a meeting and when we got home, he left again to go find him.  But he can't cross the street. So there he stood.  Later he and Olivia did get to go to the ice hockey game with our friends.  And earlier in the week i remembered to take a walk on the beautiful bike path by our house and we had our friends over while their brother had some special appointments himself.  Oh and every day when I pick up Isaac from school, we play on the playground with friends.  As long as I don't have to pee, its pretty great.

44/52

Through November 1st.
Sam is LOVING the scooter these days (which leads to many arguments about sharing) (and his head is big- I need to get him his own helmet that fits!)

Isaac getting good at peddling on the tricycle I won at the trivia night

A morning at Groff Park- the perks of having three kids is that when we are the only ones at the park- its still a party.  They were riding their sticks like horses into a walk into the woods.

Worms!

They had SO much fun playing in this dirt/mud.  Isaac sunk almost to his knees at one point and Sam was laying down in it like a spa. The perks of the whole parking lot being torn up all summer and warm fall days.

Nate was asked to speak at the WPI fall retreat the weekend of halloween.  We trick or treated at UMASS on Wednesday and then headed to VT for the weekend.  Isn't it beautiful??

Our good friends the Smiths were also there for the weekend and we headed into Woodstock on Saturday night for the best trick or treating ever.  The streets were closed and it was a warm night.  And there were LOTS of treats to be found.
