Nate...

through the eyes of Olivia.  Olivia LOVES playing with the camera.  And for the most part I don't mind.  She has yet to erase any or all of our photos which is my biggest fear.  

And she just might be starting to capture some fun shots! 

Bath time!

Isaac is also really into bath time these days!!!  He is loving splashing around and exploring the water.  I finally remembered to bring my camera with me to capture these shots!

Finger Painting

For a LONG time now I have known that Olivia would love to finger paint.  But it wasnt till a few weeks ago that Nate found an amazing easel for me at the dump- ask him about that story- which inspired me to get a large drawing pad and while shopping I also found finger paints.  And as I suspected, Olivia is a fan!  I will have to post pics later of the finished product, cause these are just when she is getting starting...

Isaac is very interested in toys right now- its so fun to see him go after something and really try to explore it.  Olivia sometimes helps him figure it out too...

As you can see blocks and building towers are a big hit in our house these days:)

Isaac at 6 Months

Just got back from the doctors where Isaac had 4 shots, delivered by TWO nurses!  He was a trooper!  Here are the Stats:

18 pounds, 14 ounces
27 inches long
9 month clothes are a bit small
Still a Great nurser- has also tried rice cereal, banana, pears, peas and squash
Slowly getting into a schedule of a morning, afternoon and early evening nap and then to bed by 8 and up between 6-7; but still able to go with the flow for the most part as well which is helpful in this family!
First tooth popping up on the bottom.
Sits up VERY well!  
Wants to crawl, I don't think it will be long...

Visit with Julia

Early in August we headed up to Bristol NH to visit my best friend from college Julia and her family.  Her daughter Sadie is almost three and we had never met!  Since we moved to PA Julia and I hadn't been able to connect since she lives in CA most of the year.  I was SOOO excited to see her and spend time with her family in NH.  As it turned out her sister and brother in law were also there, with their son who is just a month older than Isaac.  Nate and I had a GREAT time just hanging out for a few days and catching up on three years of life in just three days!  Olivia and Sadie got along GREAT!  Julia, I hope you guys had as much fun as we did!
